THE OPPORTUNITY

There are significant incentives regarding installing energy efficient equipment and systems that are available in New Jersey and other states for renovations and new construction projects.

 

THE CHALLENGE

Opportunities for incentives must be identified early in the project timeline to allow integration into the project design.  Most incentive programs have requirements to procure approvals before the start of demolition or construction activities.

THE PS&S SOLUTION

PS&S is an approved Partner in the New Jersey Clean Energy Pay for Performance (P4P) program, and has assisted many clients with obtaining New Jersey Clean Energy incentives.  For a recent laboratory renovation in New Jersey, PS&S assisted with procuring over $65,000 in incentive funding for energy improvements.  PS&S identified the opportunity for incentives at the beginning of the project.  For replacement HVAC equipment, the PS&S specifications included the requirements to meet efficiency requirements to qualify for incentive funding and for the equipment provider to submit and procure an approved incentive application for the client.  For LED lighting incentives on the same project, PS&S prepared applications and procured incentive approvals for the client.
