THE OPPORTUNITY
A Nebraska-based medical device company needed to expand its manufacturing facility into a larger and separate building footrpint.
THE CHALLENGE
Fast track project required coordinated effort between all trades, including surveyors, geotechnical, site civil engineering.
THE PS&S SOLUTION
PS&S designed a conceptual layout that effectively and economically met their needs while providing full service capabilities including site survey, geotechnical services, architectural, structural, site civil engineering, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection and electrical engineering. An approved front-end BOD was established working closely with the client in order to fast track the project schedule.
The new manufacturing building extension of approximately 67,000 sf is constructed to accommodate process assembly lines, injection mold presses, mechanical support space, material handling and storage, new toilets, mezzanine storage, shop w/tool room, interior bridge cranes, exterior roof structure crane system, and a new employee entrance with adjacent parking area.
